Objective: To determine the relationship between the perception of the clinical environment and the practical learning of nursing students at the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes. Method: Quantitative, correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional and prospective study. Stratified simple random sampling of 188 students from 3rd to 8th semester of the Nursing degree attending clinical practice. The Clinical Environment Perception Assessment Instrument and the CIBISA Scale were applied; with Cronbach’s alpha of 0.92 and 0.88, respectively. Results: The sample consisted mainly of women aged 21 and 22 years. A good perception of the clinical environment was obtained (87.77%) and a good level of practical learning (99.5%). No correlation was found between the perception of the clinical environment and practical learning (p = 0.711). Conclusion: Although no significant relationship was obtained between the variables, the positive results emphasize the importance of maintaining and continuing to promote favorable clinical environments for the practical learning of students.
