Nursing education is a complex process that involves not only the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, but also the development of practical skills and fundamental attitudes for patient care. In this context, the participation of nursing students in health fairs emerges as an innovative pedagogical strategy that combines experiential learning with community outreach. Experiential learning involves learning by doing, where students interact socially, mobilize feelings and build knowledge through shared experiences. Through these activities, they not only strengthen their clinical and communication skills, but also promote community wellness, disease prevention and the development of sensitivity and understanding towards the needs of others. In addition, participation in health fairs strengthens their academic training, fosters teamwork and improves their leadership and communication skills with the user; it also contributes to developing a sense of social responsibility and a greater commitment to public health.
